Funke Adesiyan’s Candid Advice To President Buhari

Funke Adesiyan was very active in Nollywood especially the Yoruba genre where she ruled like a queen while still in Nigeria. Today, she has relocated to America where she is studying film production and directing in one of the citadels there. As a concerned citizen of Nigeria who is so pained about the way things are currently going in the country, Funke has voiced out her concern over the state of the nation and why the president should swallow his pride and make consultations that will rescue the masses from the shackles of poverty and famine.

“A strong man is he who can swallow his pride and ask for help when and where he gets to a crossroads. There is nothing absolutely wrong in seeking help from those who know better than you do. I believe it’s high time General Buhari swallowed his pride and asked for help with the economic downturn. The General and all his team seem not to get it right. People are dying of hunger, the nation is in turmoil and nothing seems to work. A great leader should think about the welfare of his people more than any personal vendetta. Please Nigerians; let’s not wait till we are all affected. let’s all plead with our General. Let’s think of the majority of Nigerians who are finding it very difficult to survive now.
