Popular Nollywood Actor Hits By Stray Bullet…Rushed To The Hospital (Photo)

Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha, was yesterday hit by a stray bullet. Nigerian singer, Kelly Handsome broke the news on social media. Charles has reportedly been rushed to an emergency room for medical attention.

Charles Okocha, popularly called, Jiga was fatally hit by stray bullet last night. According to the information gathered, the action packed actor’s fate this morning was the one of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Charles, as we heard, happened to be around the premises of a big boy, who hired the services of a Mopol as security guard. Eventually, the armed man went berserk, shot his gun sporadically, killing one man while the actor got bullet wounds on his stomach and leg.

Policeman Who Killed Twins, Friend And Himself In Ketu Dismissed Even In Death

Though he is dead, the Nigeria Police Force is set to pass full judgment on the policeman who killed three persons in Lagos before killing himself.

A day after he killed three people after a drinking spree, the Lagos State Police Command on Sunday said plans have been concluded to try and dismiss a killer police man, late Stephen James

The trial means the deceased cop, with Force number 217884, who was attached to Mopol 22, Oduduwa GRA, Ikeja, would be tried and dismissed even in death.

James, who was in a drunken stupor, was said to have shot dead three undergraduates before finally killing himself at a pub attached to Paulson Hotel at Anibaba area of Ikosi in Ketu on Saturday.

Cleric Warns President Buhari To Release Nnamdi Kanu Or Else Heavens Will Strike


Following the continued detention of Biafra Radio Director, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu by the Department of State Security, DSS, a renowned cleric, Prophet Anthony Nwoko of the Church of God, weekend called on President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure Kanu’s immediate release or Heaven will fall.

Prophet Nwoko when he addressed a crowded press conference at the end of a Prayer Summit organised by 24 pastors in Enugu, with the theme ‘Possessing the land,’ said:

“I cannot find any clean political leader from the South East. The governors are selfish, self centered, and have never pursued any action that will uplift the overall well-being of Igbo nation.“Buhari must release Nnamdi Kanu with immediate effect, otherwise the heavens will strike,” he said.

Federal Government To Reduce Petrol Pump Price To N85 Per Litre From January 1

According to report by PRNigeria, the Federal Government of Nigeria would on January 1 next year reduce the pump price of the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N85 per litre. The Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu broke the news to journalists in the Port Hacourt Refinery Company (PHRC), where he spent Christmas inspecting the plant.

Asked when would the Federal Government release the new price temperate of the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulation Agency (PPPRA), he said that he approved the new price for the agency on Thursday.

Pressed to reveal when the new price will become effective, Kachikwu, who is also the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) said “like I said, we have done a modulation calculation and it is showing us below N87. I imagine that if PPPRA publishes it today, it will become effective immediately. But the 1st of January that is when we are looking at.”

Mike Adenuga’s Globacom Telecommunications In Debt Mess…May Be Sanctioned By NCC (Documents Attached)

Scoop reaching us has it that all is not well between the indigenous telecommunication giant, Globacom Nigeria and the regulatory body, Nigerian Communication Commission, NCC under the aegis Wireless Applications Services Providers Association of Nigeria (WASPAN) that the company is being indebted to. The association sent the petition over debts owed by Globacom to its members totaling over N2billion.

According to the report, the petition states that, WASPAN alleged that Globacom refused to pay them their 20% portion of revenue made by Globacom from Value Added Services rendered to Globacom subscribers since 2013. They also complained that Globacom refuses to give a detailed log of their services to show how much Globacom truly owes them. It is believed that the debt owed by Globacom, if fully investigated, is far in excess of the N2billion claimed as the total outstanding by Globacom.
 In its mediatory function as a regulators; NCC had mandated Globacom to produce within 30 days the detailed logs of the services rendered by the vendors and also make immediate payment to all Wireless Applications Service Providers that are being owed by Globacon.

NNPC Reveals That Fuel In The Reserve Will Last Nigerians For 24 Days

With this fresh revelation from the stable of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC that the excess of fuel we have in the reserve will still sustain Nigerians for 24 days, it’s obvious the long anticipated queues at gas stations across the state will vanish.
Nigeria currently has about 977.31 million litres of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) in its land and marine depots, the National PMS Evacuation Report has stated.
The report, which was released yesterday in Abuja, noted that the reserve would be enough to last the country for 24 days. The NNPC, in the report,
