Korede Bello Scored Low… Fails To Meet Up With Compulsory 70% Class Attendance

This is not the kind of news the entire crew of Mavin Records will like to read as the Godwin crooner, Korede Bello is going through a face with the school management over his inability to record the compulsory 70% class attendance at Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba, Lagos.

As a student of the journalism citadel, a lecturer, we learnt, has threatened to resign if the fast-rising act is allowed to write the forthcoming examinations after failing to meet up with the compulsory 70% class attendance set by the school.

However, this has been lampooned by some concerned people based on the fact that the youngster could have been absent based on health ground. More so,  if he performs well in his continuous assessments, examinations and
projects, the issue of attendance, though important, shouldn’t be made to supersede the other necessary criteria for as long as he meets up in other areas. The best the school should have done, If it’ possible, is to the deduct the shortfall of the points for his attendance from his total aggregate.

Though, report has it that the singer came to school and was seen begging one of the school’s notable official to lean on the lecturer in question, how true this is, we can not say for now.
