
Former Super Eagles’ coach, Stephen Keshi’s wife, Kate who died on 9 December, 2015 of cancer at a United States hospital, was today laid to rest amidst tears in the presence of her husband, four children, family members and her husband’s colleagues.

Kate’s body, which was brought in from the United States, was laid to rest today in Benin. It was also said that her husband went so emotional with tears rolling down his eyes as she was put interred.
Among the dignitaries at the burial ceremony was chairman of Edo State Football Association, Frank Ilaboya, the technical director of the NFF, Shaibu Amodu, ex-Super Eagles coach, Austin Eguavoen, former assistant coach to Keshi, Daniel Amokachi and top government officials.
