The ancient city of Minna which is the base of former military president Ibrahim Babangida as the town came alive in a carnival like mood as the last child of the strong man at the Hilltop was given out in marriage.

Halima, the second daughter of IBB and late former first lady, Mariam was all radiant as she was joined through nikkai to her business man husband in the presence of an impressive turnout of dignitaries both from the corridors of power and economy. Notable among those who left all things to honour IBB are, the national leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Former president Goodluck Jonathan and wife, widow of late president Yar’adua, Hajia Turai, Senate President Bukola Saraki, General Abdusalam Abubakar and wife Justice Fati Abubakar ,House Speaker Yakubu Dogara, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Governors Abubakar Bello (Niger), Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Abdulfatah Ahmed (Kwara) and a whole lot of others.
