Emir Of Kano, Lamido Sanusi Denies Report Linking Palace to Abduction of Ese Oruru

A recent post on social media has linked the famous Emir of Kano Palace to the abduction of a teenager, Ese Rita Oruru. According to the report, Ese was kidnapped by one Mr. Yinusa from Bayelsa State and was taken to Kano State, where she was converted to Islam and her name changed to Aisha.

When the search for Ese kicked off it was alleged that she has been married off to someone and is being taken custody in the palace of Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II.


However, Emir Sanusi ll is said to have denied his palace having any link to abduction of Ese Oru. He said that any social media post linking his palace to the abduction is false and the person’s calculated attempt to discredit the stool of the Emir.
